The E30 has outlived most of its own plastic. Steel holds up; the injection-moulded trim around it doesn't. Grilles go chalky and split at the mounting clips, bumper intakes crack across the middle, and quad-light covers yellow past any amount of polishing.
None of it is in production. BMW stopped tooling E30 trim before most of our customers finished school.
Kidney grille trim
The pair of kidney surrounds that frame the grille go brittle from two directions at once — UV from the front, engine heat from behind. The clips at the back are usually the first thing to go, which is why a "good" used grille often arrives with three of its four mounts already snapped.
What we print it in: PETG. It holds the sharp kidney edge without the UV brittleness of the factory ABS, and takes black or body-colour paint cleanly.
Front bumper air intake
The lower valance intake cracks straight across the widest span, usually from a parking-lot tap rather than age alone. Because it sits low and takes road spray, we print it slightly thicker through the middle than the original moulding.
What we print it in: PETG for the standard fit; ASA if you want factory-matched UV resistance for a car that lives outside.
Quad-light and Hella-style headlight covers
E30 quad-light setups use round Hella-style covers that go cloudy and craze long before the headlight itself fails. We reproduce the classic round profile as a clip-in cover, not a full housing replacement — cheaper, and it doesn't touch your wiring.
Ordering for an E30
Send photos of what you have, even if it's in three pieces. For the grille and intake, a tape-measure width across the widest point is usually enough to confirm scale; for the headlight covers we work from the housing diameter.
